What if I have a problem with my order?
We’re proud of our work and appreciate your willingness to try our products. We’re sure you’ll be happy with your purchase; but if you’re not – don’t worry – we offer a satisfaction guarantee!
This is our full-time occupation and how we support ourselves and our family. As a mother and daughter team of artists, we work hard to come up with exciting new designs, create the PDF and video tutorials for them, and build and manage the websites and all other aspects of the business side that enable us to share and deliver our products to you. We work very hard to make each of our beading tutorials as clear and concise as possible and utilize the latest technology available to make downloading and viewing them as fast, easy and convenient as possible for you. However, we’re still human and do occasionally slip up. And as we all know, while technology is great, it can have its moments too.
If you have any problem with one of our tutorials, or with the technology side, please rest assured – we’ll make it right! Just contact us with your concern and we’ll do our very best to work with you to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
How do I receive my order?
A link to your new PDF tutorial(s) is automatically emailed to you in an email right after you place your order. For detailed instructions on how to download and view your PDF tutorial, please visit our How to Download page. Please email Support@SimpleBeadPatterns.com if you have any questions.
How do I create an account?
Once you add your items to your shopping cart, click on the Cart button on the top menu bar, then click the Proceed to Checkout button on the Cart page. When you are filling out the order form, below the email address and phone number fields, there is a check box to create an account. Below that, you can create a password and user name. You should then be able to place your order at the bottom of the page.
I have bought from you before, but I can’t log in?
We have multiple websites and unfortunately the web tools we use require you to create an account on each site that you want to purchase from – the websites are not connected. You just need to create an account during checkout on the new website that you are purchasing from. If desired, feel free to use the same username and password for each of our websites.
How do I update my password for my account?
If you click on My Account on the top menu bar, you should be prompted to log in. There is a lost password link in blue that you can click on that will take you to a page where you can enter your email address. An automated email will be sent to you with a link to create a new password. If you do not receive the email in a couple of minutes (you may need to check your spam folder) of if you would like us to change your password for you then email us at Support@SimpleBeadPatterns.com.
What if I have trouble placing my order on your website?
If you have any trouble with placing your order on our website, you can try using a different internet browser, such as Mozilla FireFox or Google Chrome. If you are using a tablet or smart phone, then try using a computer if possible. You can also place your order from our Simple Bead Patterns Etsy shop. If you’d like, we can send you a PayPal invoice for the tutorial(s) you wish to purchase. Just email us at Support@SimpleBeadPatterns.com and let us know which patterns you would like to order. We will send you the PayPal invoice as soon as possible (usually within a few hours). As soon as we receive confirmation of payment, we will email your tutorials to you.
I am trying to place my order with Internet Explorer and when I click “Place Order” on the checkout page, nothing is happening. What do I do?
If you have trouble placing an order and you are using Internet Explorer please try placing your order with a different browser, such as Mozilla FireFox or Google Chrome, or please email us at Support@SimpleBeadPatterns.com. You can also place your order from our Etsy shop www.SimpleBeadPatterns.Etsy.com.
What forms of payment do you accept?
All payments are processed securely through PayPal.
I don’t have a PayPal account. Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, you can pay with a credit card via PayPal, without a PayPal account. All credit card payments are processed “through” PayPal, but this does not mean that you must have a PayPal account. Please see our “How to Pay” page for instructions on how to pay with a credit card, without logging into or creating a PayPal account. Contact Support@SimpleBeadPatterns.com if you have any trouble.
How does your “buy 3 and get 1 free” sale work?
We often have a buy 3 and get 1 free sale on our website. Just add any 4 tutorials to your shopping cart and our website will now automatically deduct the lowest priced pattern from your total. If you’re planning on purchasing 6 or more patterns, please checkout with 4 tutorials at a time, as our website is not yet able to support more than one free pattern per transaction. Can I sell the jewelry I make with the tutorials I purchase?
Yes, you can sell the handmade jewelry that you make using our patterns!
Can I share the tutorials I purchase?
Our tutorials are protected by copyright law. Making copies of our patterns to either sell or give away is strictly prohibited by law. We will report any infringement of our copyrights to the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section of the Criminal Division of the United States Department of Justice for investigation and prosecution.
Can I teach with your tutorials?
In an effort to protect our copyrights, we unfortunately no longer offer teaching certificates. Our tutorials are for individual use only and may not be taught, shared or sold. Individuals who have purchased a teaching certificate from us in the past may continue to teach individuals who have purchased their own copy of the tutorial directly from us. Please note, having a teaching certificate for one or more of our designs does not authorize you to teach with any of our other tutorials. To do so would be copyright infringement, which we take seriously. Thank you for complying and protecting our copyrights.
Where are you located? Do you have a shop?
We are located in Gig Harbor, WA. No, we do not have a shop, but maybe someday!
Where do you purchase your beading supplies?
Since our local bead shop went out of business, we’ve had to turn to online retailers, which include ArtBeads, Shipwreck Beads, Beadaholique, Fusion Beads and Lima Beads.
