“Bangle-icious” Bracelet Beading Tutorial #14252

This beading pattern will teach you how to easily make these beaded memory wire bangle bracelets!  Being that I’ve always been attracted to stitching projects, I haven’t spent a lot of time working with memory wire.  Recently, my mom and I wanted some casual, fun bracelets to wear during our abnormally hot summer, and memory wire bangles fit the bill perfectly! These bracelets are so easy and fun to make, I could not stop making them (as you can see in my sample photos, I’ve made a gazillion of them!)  You can wear just one, a few, or a bunch and make them with whatever beads you’d like!  With over 25 high resolution full color photos and easy to follow step by step directions, you’ll soon have your own beautiful “Bangle-icious” bangles!  Bead happy!

Tutorial by: Cara Landry

Recommended Materials:
– Bracelet memory wire 2.25” (57mm)
– Memory wire cutter or heavy duty wire cutters – Make sure you do not use your regular jewelry cutters – the memory wire can damage them.
– Round nose pliers
– Chain nose (smooth flat) pliers

For this project, you can use whatever types and sizes of beads you’d like! I personally made each of my bangles with one type of bead – for example, one bangle was made with just 6mm dark teal fire polished beads. Feel free to use a mixture of beads for your bangles. Below are the types of beads I used to make my bangle bracelets.

– 6mm beads – I used round glass fire polished beads
– 4mm beads – I used round glass fire polished beads
– 3mm beads – I used round glass fire polished beads
– 8/0 seed beads
– 11/0 seed beads
– 15/0 seed beads
