“Uptown Necklace” Downloadable PDF Beading Pattern #14940

This beautiful multi-strand cascading necklace is big (the longest strand is a full 37” long), bold (with an eclectic mix of chains and beads) and absolutely beautiful! Inspired by a lovely (and no doubt very expensive) necklace that was previously offered by a popular high end retail store, I made several design changes that resulted in a lighter, more comfortable weight and a superior clasp system that keeps all of those beautiful long strands and chains from becoming frustratingly tangled. The result is a rich, eye stopping necklace that is substantial and glamorous – making you look absolutely fabulous at work, or on the town. I also designed a coordinating “Uptown Bracelet” using my favorite chain and several beads that is quite lovely and fun to make. You can also see my simple but glamorous dangle “Uptown Earrings” designed to complete the set. This design looks best in a monochromatic color scheme with a mix of bright and antique chain finishes. Happy beading!
