Chandelier earrings take their name from chandelier light fixtures, due to their sparkling ornate design and upscale appearance and are considered “statement earrings” worn to be noticed and impress. Chandelier earrings typically consist of an ornate flat triangular or oval-shaped dangle earring that incorporates several open loops around its exterior from which hang individual drops of crystals, sparkling beads and/or chain. The individual drops are designed to sway freely with movement to maximize eye-catching sparkle and can be of any length (ranging from short single drops to long drops that can extend for several inches.
