SuperDuo Beaded Poinsettia Christmas Bracelet Beading Pattern for #294

One of the best Christmas memories I have is the altar of my childhood Church at Christmas. During the month of December, the alter had two tasteful poinsettias (one each side). But on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning, every square inch of the altar was “magically” covered with a plethora of brilliant poinsettias (that joyfully remained for the next couple of weeks – or at least until the wise men came : ). It was a sight to behold! I am still moved when I recall the image and hear the choir booming “Gloria in Excelsis Deo ” To me, that's what Christmas looks and sounds like – a cacophony of color and sound rising up in celebration. This “Christmas Poinsettia Bracelet” (part of my “Christmas Poinsettia Collection”), is a wrist-full of bright SuperDuo poinsettias trimmed with glittering gold “foil” and pearls. Measuring nearly 1” wide and finished with a chain extender for a perfect fit, this glorious bracelet is stunning for Christmas (and the joyful weeks that proceed and follow)!

This simple beading pattern, which includes: a detailed Materials Page, Bead Legend/Color Key and, over 70 high-resolution full-color photos and easy to follow step-by-step directions, will teach beaders of all skill levels how to make these beautiful, and memorable, earrings in no time. Make the coordinating ornate necklace and drop earrings (see below) for a brilliant ensemble! Thank you for shopping Simple Bead Patterns, and as always, bead happy!

Materials & Quantities Needed

Your purchased beading tutorial will include a detailed materials list of everything you'll need to make this project, including quantities and, in most cases, color information (see more about Bead Color Information below).

Substituting with Different Beads or Beading Materials

Many of our designs can be made using comparable beading materials. For example, if our pattern calls for 4mm round pearls, in most cases, you can use different types of 4mm round beads instead (such as 4mm round fire polished beads). Please note: If the pattern is for a bead weaving (or stitched) project, it's typically not recommended to use different sizes of beads than those recommended, as the original design may not work out as intended. You may also substitute recommended materials with your preferred brand (for example using Nymo vs. FireLine thread) unless otherwise noted for a specific reason. For example, if we specifically recommend using TOHO seed beads with a particular project, the project may not work out as well if you substitute and use Delica seed beads instead (which differ in shape).

Bead Color Information

We provide detailed information about the bead colors used for each of the color samples shown above on the Bead Legend / Color Key (or similarly named page) in your purchased pattern. If the tutorial you purchased does not include detailed color information for a particular color sample we used, we apologize (a few of our earliest patterns did not include this information and we no longer have those beads to reference, or they were discontinued by the manufacturer). If this is the case, please feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to provide you with general color descriptions. Be sure to let us know which particular color sample you're most interested in.
