How to Purchase & Download a Tutorial
Step 1 – Add the desired beading pattern(s) to your cart and checkout.
Add each of the tutorial(s) you wish to purchase to your shopping cart by clicking the “Add to Cart” button. Then, click on the shopping cart icon at the very top right of the page to view your shopping cart. From the shopping cart page, if you have a coupon code, you can add it in the box outlined in the screenshot below, then click the “Proceed to checkout” button.
Step 2 – Place your order
When you place an order with us (even if you are trying out one of our free tutorials) the shopping cart will ask for basic contact information - your first and last name, email address, city, state, zip, and country (so we have a general sense of where our customers are located). We DO NOT ask for (or store) any additional personal information (such as your street address, phone number, birthday or credit card number).
If you have an account, you can click the blue "Already registered?" button and log into your account (see the screenshot below).
Want to check out as a guest?
If you'd like, you may check out as a guest, but without an account, you won't be able to take advantage of any of the great benefits of having an account, which include:
- All of the patterns you purchase over time will be conveniently located in one place (so you don't have to search through old emails, or worry if you change your email or computer.
- You can create a Wishlist, which you can reference at any time, or even share with others (a great way to share gift ideas with friends and family)
- Faster checkout - your name, email address, city, state, zip code and country will be automatically populated for you.
To create an account, simply check the "Create an Account" box (outlined in the screenshot below) and choose a password (minimum of 5 characters - no restrictions on what you use). That's all there is to it!
Once you fill out your basic contact information, select your payment method - either your PayPal account or your debit / credit card (outlined in the screenshot below).
Note: If you pay with a debit or credit card, once you proceed to check out, the secure payment interface will ask for your street address and credit card information to complete the order. This information is not captured or stored on our Simple Bead Patterns website at all.
Then, if you have any coupon codes, you can enter them one by one by clicking on the question "Do you have a promotional code?"
When you're done filling out the order form, click the checkbox to agree to our terms of service (outlined in the screenshot below), then click “Checkout” at the bottom right of the Checkout page.
You will then be directed to PayPal to either pay with your PayPal account or your debit / credit card. Once the payment is complete, you will be re-directed back to our website.
Step 3 – Download your new beading pattern(s)
Either way you checkout (as a guest or with an account), within moments of completing your order you’ll receive two emails from Simple Bead Patterns. One email will be your automated order confirmation, and the other email will contain the link(s) to download your new beading pattern(s).
Please Note: If you do not receive your confirmation email within a few minutes, please check your spam folder to see if it was redirected there. If it was in your spam folder, please click “Not Spam” to whitelist our email for future correspondence. If you’re still unable to locate the emails from us (there may have been a typo in your email address on the order form), please contact us and we will be happy to resend your beading pattern(s) to you.
From the email with the link(s) to download your beading pattern(s), or from the Beading Patterns I've Purchased page in your account, click on each download link (one at a time, if you purchased more than one). When you click on the link, the beading pattern should be downloaded and saved in your Downloads folder on your computer or device. The screenshot below shows the "Beading Patterns I've Purchased Page" with the download link outlined (you can also click on the picture to download the pattern). The drop-down on the right shows how to navigate to your download page. You may also have a bar pop up on the bottom of your browser, as outlined in the screenshot, with a quick link to your download.
Please note: Depending on the size of the file, it may take a few seconds to a couple of minutes to download the pattern.
Once the beading pattern is downloaded to your computer or device, you can navigate to your downloads folder and click on the file to open and view it in your default PDF viewer. The program most widely used to view PDF files, and the one we like best, is Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free.
Tip: We recommend that you move (cut or copy) the beading pattern PDF and paste it in a folder on your computer or device where you'll be able to find it in the future, such as a folder called "Beading Patterns".
