Fox SuperDuo Beaded Animal Pattern #352
Do you love foxes? That’s silly - what’s not to love! Foxes are stunning little critters with tons of charm and personality. We thought we’d pay homage to the fox with a beaded likeness that we can wear and share. This cute little guy, measuring 1” wide by just over 1” tall, is made up of SuperDuos and seed beads and is a slightly dimensional project (meaning he, or she, has curves in all the right places). Our little red fox has big upright ears that curve slightly forward (listening intently), a pointed nose (that sticks out further from the face), piercing dark eyes, and a cute little mouth tucked under his nose! A great project for earthy folks or for sly vixens who want to look and feel especially “foxy”!
With this simple beading pattern, which includes a detailed materials page, color information, over 100 high-resolution full-color photos and easy-to-follow step-by-step directions, we’ll show you how to stitch up your own “skulk” (or group) of fun and whimsical foxes to wear and share. Folks will enjoy the special sighting and you’re sure to get appreciative comments. Thank you for shopping Simple Bead Patterns, and as always, bead happy!

Materials & Quantities Needed
Your purchased beading tutorial will include a detailed materials list of everything you'll need to make this project, including quantities and, in most cases, color information (see more about Bead Color Information below).
Substituting with Different Beads or Beading Materials
Many of our designs can be made using comparable beading materials. For example, if our pattern calls for 4mm round pearls, in most cases, you can use different types of 4mm round beads instead (such as 4mm round fire polished beads). Please note: If the pattern is for a bead weaving (or stitched) project, it's typically not recommended to use different sizes of beads than those recommended, as the original design may not work out as intended. You may also substitute recommended materials with your preferred brand (for example using Nymo vs. FireLine thread) unless otherwise noted for a specific reason. For example, if we specifically recommend using TOHO seed beads with a particular project, the project may not work out as well if you substitute and use Delica seed beads instead (which differ in shape).
Bead Color Information
We provide detailed information about the bead colors used for each of the color samples shown above on the Bead Legend / Color Key (or similarly named page) in your purchased pattern. If the tutorial you purchased does not include detailed color information for a particular color sample we used, we apologize (a few of our earliest patterns did not include this information and we no longer have those beads to reference, or they were discontinued by the manufacturer). If this is the case, please feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to provide you with general color descriptions. Be sure to let us know which particular color sample you're most interested in.
