Poinsettia Earrings Beading Pattern

You don’t have to be an oenophile (appreciator of wine) to love these elegant dangle grape earrings. These fun and sparkly grape clusters are perfect for nature lovers and wine drinkers of all preferences and persuasions. They also make a very “tasteful” handmade gift for your wine drinking or grape loving girlfriends (because grape minds think alike). These earrings offer tons of sparkle and shine and have great movement and swag. :) Make sure you check out our Grape Leaf Necklace for a super classy coordinating set!
This easy and inexpensive project offers tons of color possibilities (we went with the classic green and purple grape varieties). As far as sizing, again you have lots of flexibility. We choose two sizes - the smaller more “petite” grapes are made using 4 mm beads and 2 x 3 mm cable chain so the finished clusters measure 1.25” (3.2 cm) x 0.5” (1.3 cm) wide - counting the chain and jump ring at the top (not the earwire). The larger, more substantial grapes use 6 mm beads and 4.5 x 5 mm cable chain so the finished clusters are a substantial 2” (5.1 cm) long x 0.75” (1.9 cm) wide - again, counting the chain and jump ring at the top (not the earwire).
This project is suitable for beaders of all skill levels, including absolute beginners. Our fun and simple beading pattern includes a detailed materials page, color information for each colorway, bead chart, over 30 high-resolution full-color photos and easy to follow step-by-step directions that will hold your hand every step of the way. Thank you for shopping Simple Bead Patterns, and bead happy! Cheers.

Each beading pattern features detailed, step-by-step instructions that are written in a clear, simple conversational style. A full-color close-up photo accompanies each step showing exactly what's happening.

Your purchased beading tutorial will include a detailed materials list of everything you'll need to make this project, including quantities and, in most cases, color information (see more about Bead Color Information below).
Many of our designs can be made using comparable beading materials. For example, if our pattern calls for 4mm round pearls, in most cases, you can use different types of 4mm round beads instead (such as 4mm round fire polished beads). Please note: If the pattern is for a bead weaving (or stitched) project, it's typically not recommended to use different sizes of beads than those recommended, as the original design may not work out as intended. You may also substitute recommended materials with your preferred brand (for example using Nymo vs. FireLine thread) unless otherwise noted for a specific reason. For example, if we specifically recommend using TOHO seed beads with a particular project, the project may not work out as well if you substitute and use Delica seed beads instead (which differ in shape).
We provide detailed information about the bead colors used for each of the color samples shown above on the Bead Legend / Color Key (or similarly named page) in your purchased pattern. If the tutorial you purchased does not include detailed color information for a particular color sample we used, we apologize (a few of our earliest patterns did not include this information and we no longer have those beads to reference, or they were discontinued by the manufacturer). If this is the case, please feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to provide you with general color descriptions. Be sure to let us know which particular color sample you're most interested in.
