Pandora Paracord Slide Knot Bracelet Tutorial

These inspirational paracord bracelets (with simple slide knots and beaded tassels) are a fast and inexpensive project that are as much fun to make as they are to wear (as an aside, in addition to the helpful inspiration message, we sadly found that we enjoy turning our wrist back and forth to make the metal beads on the ends of the tassels clink together (a safer version of “Clackers” from the 60’s and 70s). These inspirational bracelets can be worn alone or stacked and worn together featuring different colors, and different inspirational messages, to motivate you throughout your day. And, because they’re adjustable, these sliding knot bracelets also make great gifts for friends and family.
Learn how to make a paracord bracelet with our super easy and detailed paracord bracelet instructions that feature over 30 high-resolution, full-color photos and easy to follow, step-by-step directions (with helpful tips and tricks to ensure success and minimize frustration), as well as a detailed materials page and bead legend that include color and size information for the materials used in the samples shown. You can make DIY paracord bracelets using virtually any size paracord (we used the thinner cord for ours and thicker cord for the guys). For a more rugged “manly” look, you can even use a large, plain washer (that’s available from any hardware store) in place of the inspirational message ring, for a fun gift for the “handyman” in your life (great last minute gift idea for Father’s Day : )

The beading patterns offered on this website are written in English. We offer translated beading patterns in French, German, Italian, and Spanish on our Etsy shop - just look for images with country flags at the top. Please note that all products are downloadable beading instructions that will teach you how to make the sample item shown above. Nothing will be shipped to your physical address (as it is for downloadable instructions only and does not include any tangible materials or finished pieces of jewelry).
Each of our beading patterns includes a detailed Materials Page that clearly specifies everything you'll need on-hand to make the project (including bead types, sizes, and quantities, as well as any required tools and/or findings). Each beading pattern features detailed, step-by-step instructions that are written in a clear, simple conversational style. A full-color close-up photo accompanies each step showing exactly what's happening.
Upon completion of your purchase, your new beading tutorial will be automatically and “instantly” delivered to your email address as a PDF (Portable Document Format) file which you can then download, open, and conveniently view (and/or print) on your computer or handheld device. To learn more about our downloadable beading tutorials, including how to find and open your new beading pattern, please visit our "Help” section.
Your purchased beading tutorial will include a detailed materials list of everything you'll need to make this project, including quantities and, in most cases, color information (see more about Bead Color Information below).
Many of our designs can be made using comparable beading materials. For example, if our pattern calls for 4mm round pearls, in most cases, you can use different types of 4mm round beads instead (such as 4mm round fire polished beads). Please note: If the pattern is for a bead weaving (or stitched) project, it's typically not recommended to use different sizes of beads than those recommended, as the original design may not work out as intended. You may also substitute recommended materials with your preferred brand (for example using Nymo vs. FireLine thread) unless otherwise noted for a specific reason. For example, if we specifically recommend using TOHO seed beads with a particular project, the project may not work out as well if you substitute and use Delica seed beads instead (which differ in shape).
We provide detailed information about the bead colors used for each of the color samples shown above on the Bead Legend / Color Key (or similarly named page) in your purchased pattern. If the tutorial you purchased does not include detailed color information for a particular color sample we used, we apologize (a few of our earliest patterns did not include this information and we no longer have those beads to reference, or they were discontinued by the manufacturer). If this is the case, please feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to provide you with general color descriptions. Be sure to let us know which particular color sample you're most interested in.
