About Our Beading Patterns

Polar Bear Beaded Christmas Coaster Pattern

This fun polar bear beaded Christmas coaster pattern includes a detailed Materials page, a Bead Legend / Color Key, Word Chart, Bead Chart, and over 50 high-resolution full-color photos and easy-to-follow step-by-step directions.

The finished beaded coaster measures approximately 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm).

Recommended Materials:

Below is an abbreviated materials list. The actual beading pattern includes a detailed Materials page that covers everything you’ll need to complete this beading project.

– #10 (or 10 holes per inch) plastic embroidery mesh found at most craft stores
– 4 lb – 10 lb FireLine beading thread
– #12 long beading needle
– Size 8/0 seed beads x (5) colors
– Fine or Ultra Fine Point Sharpie
– Ruler or straight edge
– Scissors
– Flush cutter
– Optional – 4” x 4” Cork backing (larger squares or longer rolls can be cut down if pre-cut squares not available)
– Optional – Glue (I tested many and prefer “Lochtite Super Glue Gel” – E6000 also works but bad smell lingers)

All of our newer patterns include detailed bead color information that specifies the type, manufacturer, and color of all beads used in each color sample.

Please note, our earliest patterns did not include such detailed bead color information for each of the color samples we made. If you purchase an older pattern and want color information for a particular jewelry sample, just contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
