Welcome to our shop!
Hi, we're Lane (mom) and Cara (daughter), full-time self-employed artists, crafters, and jewelry designers. Our passion is designing fun and beautiful jewelry and home decor and then creating super-detailed, step-by-step tutorials that teach folks how to successfully make each project, regardless of their experience level. We appreciate you stopping by our shop, and we hope you get inspired and find fun projects to make for yourself and others. Enjoy, and Bead Happy!
We’re always happy to hear from you!
Feel free to reach out for any reason. We’re usually available to help 7 days/week, 365 days/year, and typically respond to customers within a few hours. Please allow extra time if you contact us between the hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. P.S.T. (that’s when we rest and get our “beady sleep”).

Bead & Button designers
We have been fortunate to have many of our original designs published in Bead & Button Magazines over the years. They also included two of our designs in their hardcover Creative Beading books (volumes 12 & 13)
About our beading patterns
Great instructions that hold your hand each step of the way!
Each beading pattern features detailed, step-by-step instructions written in a clear, simple, conversational style. A full-color close-up photo also accompanies each step, showing what is happening (annotated when applicable to illustrate stitching direction or highlight relevant details). Our beading patterns also include a detailed materials page specifying everything you need to make the project (including bead types, sizes, quantities, and any required tools and findings). Most patterns also now include a special notes section offering helpful tips specific to the design and bead color information for each color scheme we show.
-
A detailed materials page
That tells you everything you’ll need to make the project, including bead types, sizes, and quantities of all required beading materials and tools. Check out our next section for helpful tips on how to successfully customize your jewelry.
-
Bead color information
Our newer patterns include detailed bead color information that specifies the type, manufacturer, and color of all beads used in each color sample.
Please note that our earliest patterns did not include detailed bead color information for each color sample we made. If you purchase an older pattern and want color information for a particular jewelry sample, contact us, and we’ll do our best to help.
-
Step-by-step instructions
We write each beading pattern with beginners in mind. Each step is explained in detail, so you never need prior beading experience.
-
Photo for each and every step
Each close-up, high-resolution, full-color photo is carefully taken to show exactly what’s happening in the step. We edit every photo to ensure they’re as bright and clear as possible and often add special annotations for further clarity.

Help if you need it
We had a saying in our classes, “No beader is left behind!” If you’re struggling with any section of a pattern, please reach out to us” we’re always happy to help. If (as a result of working with you) we feel there is a way we can improve the pattern, we will make any necessary improvements, send you a revised copy, and update the pattern online.

100% money-back guarantee
We always want you to "bead happy." If you're less than thrilled with a pattern, don't hesitate to contact us. At your preference, we'll either do our best to address your concern or we'll issue you a full refund, no questions asked. That's our Bead Happy Guarantee!
Kits are a fun and easy option
Our gift-grade beading kits are a great treat for yourself or a crafty loved one. It’s so nice to have a high-quality kit that contains everything needed for a particular project, so you can jump right in whenever you’re ready (they’re perfect for traveling, too)!
Please note: When you purchase a beading kit you will be offered the options to purchase the needed pattern in either digital PDF format or have it printed and mailed to you along with the kit. If you have already purchased the pattern, then you can purchase just the kit and use the pattern you have already purchased.
