The buckles can be found at most fabric and craft stores and online (we found ours at Michael's and Shipwreck Beads). This collar was designed to be both comfortable and secure and should hold up to regular wear for many years to come (though we don't recommend trusting it to any tugging and pulling from a leash or restraint). Recommended Materials:

- 8 lb or 10 lb Smoke FireLine beading thread
- #12 long beading needle
- 0.5" (12mm) Parachute Buckle or plastic side release buckle
- 2 mm Round Leather Cord (I used Black Greek Leather Cord)
- 3 mm pearls (I used round glass pearls)
- Size 8/0 seed beads
- Size 6/0 seed beads
- Size 11/0 seed beads
- #3 bugles
- Flush cutter
- Flat or chain nose pliers
- G-S Hypo Cement or clear nail polish
