Learn how to turn your special beach glass into a gorgeous handmade necklace, just like you'd find at high-end seaside boutiques - perfect to enjoy all summer. In this tutorial, we show and tell how to drill sea glass. Then, we teach you how to wire wrap and make fancy leather cord ends and a hook clasp with a chain extender, which has a smaller pearl wire wrapped to the bottom for an elegant touch hanging in the back. We also show you how to include optional wire-wrapped accouterments, such as your favorite beach charm, a classic pearl, and a sparkly bicone crystal, for an extra splash of color and sparkle.
This pattern includes a detailed materials page, color information, over 120 high-resolution full-color photos, and easy-to-follow step-by-step directions to ensure your success and enjoyment. If you don't own a Dremel or don't have the perfect piece of sea glass, you can find pre-drilled pieces of sea glass online (search on Etsy or eBay).
