Learn how to make a trendy double strand beaded necklace with our beginner-friendly "Southwest Summer Necklace" beading pattern. We’ll start by teaching you how to wire wrap a center-drilled or vertical-drilled focal bead to hang in the necklace's center. Wire wrapping is a basic beading fundamental, and once you have that under your belt, you’ll be able to do many common beading techniques.  Then we'll teach you how to string the double necklaces to your preferred length and finally, we’ll show you how to professionally finish off the ends so it will be easy and comfortable to wear. Note: You can make your double strand beaded necklace with or without a focal bead in the center, and the bead sizes and design patterns we used in our necklaces are optional, so feel free to experiment with the beads you have on hand. A great project for beaders of all skill levels, including absolute beginners.

This detailed beading pattern includes a recommended materials list, bead color information, over 50 high-resolution full-color photos, and easy-to-follow step-by-step directions to ensure your success and enjoyment.
