Learn how to make a beautiful, beaded Easter egg that features colorful stripes of 11/0 seed beads stitched around a painted wooden egg. Decorating Easter eggs is a fun holiday tradition, and creating permanent keepsake eggs is even more fun.  These classically beautiful and whimsical eggs make gorgeous statement pieces you can tuck around your home and/or Easter table, or even include in a special Easter gift basket.  They're sure to impress and delight folks of all ages. Note: This "Striped Easter Egg" is stitched with a different design than our "Elegant Easter Egg" tutorial to achieve the nice, straight lines of the stripes - it's also slightly faster and easier.

This is a more involved project compared to many of our other designs, but we show and explain each step so that beaders of all skill levels can be successful. This detailed beading pattern includes a recommended materials list, bead color information, over 155 high-resolution full-color photos, and easy-to-follow step-by-step directions to ensure your success and enjoyment.
